Experiential Immersion and Practice
The CLRS training helps teachers, administrators, and support staff to become more confident, resourceful, and insightful during interactions with youth.
Through a balanced exploration of inner and outer dynamics, with ample exploration, practice, and personalized feedback, participants learn how to go off-script, guide the energy of any group, and handle more complexity with ease.
An Integrative, Whole-person Approach
Absorbing something new requires us to give it space internally and playfully experiment with it, see if it fits our style, take some risk, adapt, and hopefully get the reward of gaining a new tool and feeling capable.
Integrating something new requires greater self-awareness and reflection on how we think, what we do, what we care about, how we operate, and how we can do it better, in a supportive and safe environment.
Becoming More Connected
CLRS training addresses three key dimensions that lead to deeper connections.
Confidence and Ease
Confidence is the result of feeling in your power and in your element. Knowing that you are capable of connecting with youth and colleagues from a space of comfort.
Learning CLRS will give you this confidence in knowing that no matter what will come up, you have a tool that will assist you in understanding and connecting in a meaningful way. You don’t have to have all the answers to be confident.
The ability to sense emotions and respond to youth in real-time comes from an educator having the right resources.
When we encounter the unexpected that might have stumped us in the past, we can adapt and respond in the moment while remaining authentic and free from judgment.
The pressure to come up with a solution, resolution, or answers hinders our insight.
Insight and intuition grow exponentially when CLRS is applied. When you are free of that and apply yourself to being curious, listening, and supporting, with deep respect of the person in front of you, you are more open and ready to receive insight.
